Five Things to do This Weekend in Winchester

The National Weather Service projects that Friday will be sunny and 70. Saturday will be sunny and 77. Sunday will be sunny and 75. Could you ask for a better looking weekend?

Where/When: Rt-38 & Mount Vernon St. at 5 to 11 p.m. on May 18/Saturday, May 19 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.  

Why Go: Twenty exciting rides, great food, and the ever-popular bargain box, baked goods, quilt and book tents.  Crowd favorites, including the Zipper, will be back, along with some exciting new additions, including live music, karaoke and a tie-dye booth.

Please join us in these efforts for some “Let the Sunshine In” fun and fundraising so that we may continue to provide aid to many local charities and non-profit organizations that impact the lives of Winchester residents. Where/When:, 70 Cross St, Winchester, MA starts at 9:00 a.m. on May 19

Why Go: Instruction in CrossFit includes basic to advanced level classes in functional exercise, athletic and martial conditioning, plyometrics, kettlebell training, olympic weightlifting, medicine ball training, and basic gymnastics.

Where/When: 266 S Border Rd. from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on May 20.

Why Go:Join Linda Schwetz for an all-ages hike and trail debris cleanup on the way to Nanepashemet Hill. Bags, gloves, and verification of two community service hours will be provided. Meet at 2:00 sharp at the parking area at gate #9 on South Border Road. Rain cancels. Call Linda at 617-803-3173 for more information.

Where/When: , 458 Main St. on May 20 at 3:00 p.m.

Why Go: McCall's own Jubilation Singers, an award winning 32 voice show choir present their Spring Concert on Sunday May 20, 2012 at McCall Middle School at 3:00 pm.

Cost: Admission $10 adults/$5 students.

Why Go: Experience the museum’s wide variety of exhibits in a kid-friendly atmosphere.
