Today is Friday, April 1. Here are five things you need to know:

  1. Winter Weather Advisory: A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued until 2 p.m. on Friday. According to the National Weather Service, Winchester could get two to four inches of snow by Friday afternoon. The snow will slow down by Friday morning, possibly mixing with some rain. By 2 p.m. on Friday, the snow should be tapering off.
  2. Benefit of Hope: A : A Benefit for Milan Moosavizadeh will be held on Saturday, April 9 at from 7 – 11 p.m. All proceeds from this Gala will go directly to the Milan Moosavizadeh Trust to help Milan and his family with his ongoing support needs.  
  3. Safe Routes to School: There will be a meeting with Co-presidents of Parents Association, Safety Officer Tom Groux, Debbie Digate, Traffic Safety Volunteer for McCall and Anna Issacson, Regional Coordinator to discuss traffic pattern plans for McCall MIddle School for 2011-2012 school year from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
