Today is Monday, April 11. Here are five things you need to know:

  1. Thunderstorms: Here come those April showers they always talk about. According to the National Weather Service, today there’s a chance of thunderstorms before noon. Heavy rain and frequent lightning is expected during the storm. The rain is supposed to continue on and off throughout the rest of the day. But when it’s not raining, expect to see some sun with a high of 74 degrees.
  2. International Film Series: The will hosting the filming of 'Red Cliff' (China) in the at 6:30 p.m.
  3. Flushing Notice: Beginning Wednesday, April 13, of the town’s east/west water system will be taking place during the day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for approximately three weeks. Thewill begin flushing with the East side for the first two weeks and the West side for the third week. During flushing, residents should refrain from using water for drinking, dishwashing, and laundry as some discoloration of water may occur. If you experience discolored water, let the cold water run until it clears.
  4.
