Five Things You Need To Know Today, April 4

FEMA will be holding an informational meeting tonight at the library for those who were impacted by last year's flood.

Today is Monday, April 4. Here are five things you need to know:

  1. Rainy Day: It’s going to be another wet one today. According to the National Weather Service, there will be a mix of rain and snow Monday morning, but after 9 a.m., it’s expected to turn over to rain. The rain will continue throughout the day, into the night and sometime Tuesday night. There’s also a chance of thunderstorms beginning around 7 p.m. Monday night.
  2. Benefit of Hope: A : A Benefit for Milan Moosavizadeh will be held on Saturday, April 9 at from 7 – 11 p.m. All proceeds from this Gala will go directly to the Milan Moosavizadeh Trust to help Milan and his family with his ongoing support needs.  
  3. Flood Victims: For those residents that were impacted by the rainstorms in March of 2010, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Winchester Public Library.
  4. In case you missed it: Thewill be partially reimbursed from the Massachusetts State Building Authority (MSBA) for the work to repair the roof. The school was accepted into the and will be reimbursed for 33.95 percent of the project costs.
