Today is Wednesday, August 10. Here are five things you need to know:

  1. Chance of rain: There’s a chance of some more rain Wednesday morning. According to the National Weather Service, the high for Wednesday will be 84 degrees. By Wednesday night there might be some more rain, but it should start to clear off after 9 p.m.

Traffic: The Winchester will hold a public hearing on Monday, August 22 at 8:45 p.m. in the Board of Selectmen’s Meeting Room, to review the traffic study reports prepared and to be presented by traffic consultants Fay, Spofford and Thorndike on the intersections of Main Street/Swanton Street/Water Street; Main Street/Hemingway Street; and Main Street/Skillings Road/Lake Street
