According to the National Weather Service, the high for Wednesday will be 81 degrees The rain has officially left the area (for now). It should be mostly sunny and clear throughout the day. By Wednesday night temperatures are expected to drop to 64 degrees.
  2. Go Solar: Considering going Solar?  Winchester is one of four communities to be in the pilot program to make getting a solar system for a home or small business more affordable and simpler. There’s an i at the at 7 p.m. on Thursday with representative from Alteris Renewables, Winchester's Solarize Mass vendor, to get your questions answered.
  3. Back in court: will be back in court today. An evidentiary hearing is being held at Middlesex Superior Court today at 2 p.m.
  4. Fewer Spaces: A portion of the parking lot at the Wedgemere MBTA Station will be closed starting today to facilitate construction of the Accessibility Improvement Project. The work, which consists of installing new handicapped accessible ramps and “mini-high” platforms at the station, is expected to take about six months to complete. During the course of the work, parking restrictions will be in effect at the station. Users of the lot should expect fewer spaces to be available and should plan appropriately.
