Today is Monday, Dec. 19. Here are five things you need to know.

  1. Cold and windy: It may be a little warmer than the weekend, but temperatures are still going to be cold. According to the National Weather Service, the high Monday for is expected to be 44 degrees. It should be mostly sunny throughout the day with wind gusts up to 40 mph. Temperatures will drop to 31 degrees by Monday night.
  2. School Choice: parents have until Dec. 22 to submit their choice regarding
  3. Winter Parking: The winter parking ban is an effect. Vehicles parked on the street between 1 and 7 a.m. are subject to fines. Any vehicles parked on the street during a snow emergency may be fined and towed.
