Today is Tuesday, Dec. 6. Here are five things you need to know.

1. Rain early: Expect a wet commute this morning. According to the National Weather Service, the high for Tuesday is expected to be 60 degrees. It should be rainy for your morning commute and continue throughout the day ad into Tuesday night, as temperatures drop to 38 degrees.
2. WinCAM Week: This week is – a week-long celebration of WinCAM’s accomplishments and services, featuring special events, new program premieres and unique offerings. Members, as well as the general public, are invited to join WinCAM as it celebrates their accomplishments.
3. Winchester Hospital Babies: has been delivering babies for 100 years. As part of their centennial celebration, the hospital is searching for those people born at Winchester Hospital who are willing to share their story. All “Winchester Hospital babies” are invited to join in celebrating the hospital’s history by sharing their story along with a personal photo. To obtain an entry form or for more information, visit www.winchesterhospital.org or call Marylou Hardy in the Marketing Department at (781) 756-4796. The first 100 people to enter will receive a commemorative t-shirt. All entries must be received by Dec. 16.
4. Santa Comes to Town (Again): Santa will be coming to Winchester this Saturday, as the will be sponsoring his visit at at Town Hall. There will be a Christmas Concert with the Music Man Ed Morgan and a Continental breakfast with Santa from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.. Breakfast may consist of bagels, donuts, juice, etc., and coffee for adults. Santa is available for photos with your child. Each child receives a small gift. Santa arrives at 10:15am.
5. Flu shots: The following immunizations are available by appointment with the Winchester Department of Health: Flu Shots – age 6 months and older; FluMist – age 2 -49, healthy, non-pregnant; Pneumonia Shots – age 19 and older. All adults age 65 and older should have one pneumonia shot. Flu and pneumonia vaccines covered by most insurances. If not, the cost is $10.
