Today is Wednesday, Feb. 23. Here are five things you need to know:

  1. That’s more like it: If you didn’t notice, it actually started to get warmer as the day went on, and that should continue throughout Wednesday. According to the National Weather Service, the high for today is expected to be 35 degrees. There should be a nice breeze and another day that some more snow will melt away.
  2. Drumming Away the Blues: Head to the from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. and listen to make the winter blues disappear using guided vocal imagery, hand drums and percussion instruments. The show’s for ages five and up. Be sure to sign up in the children’s room.
  3. Photos: Have a digital camera? Then , a free program from Google to help you organize, edit and print your photos simply and quickly. Attendance at the Feb. 9 session is required for participation in the rest of the series. You may bring your laptop and photos to the workshop. The session will be held at the library from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the library.
