Today is Tuesday, Feb. 8. Here are five things you need to know:

  1. Some snow accumulation: According to the National Weather Service, there will be a little ess than an inch of snow on the ground for the morning commute. Another inch is expected to fall during the day and the storm will move out by 2 p.m. The high on Tuesday will be 34 degrees with wind gusts up to 33 mph. By Tuesday night, the temperature will drop to eight degrees and with the wind chill it will feel like –five degrees.

  3. Meetings: The Board of Selectmen’s meeting that was scheduled for Monday night at 7 p.m. has been moved to Tuesday night. The School Committee will be meeting at the tonight at 7 p.m.
  4. Parking Ban: There’s a form 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. every night until further notice. No cars are allowed to park on the street, any car on the street during that time could be ticketed or towed. The Department of Public Works will be using the time to move the snow off the streets.
  5. In case you missed it: The Massachusetts Department of Transportation informed the town of Winchester that they will begin working on replacing 14 bridges along I-93. The construction is expected to begin this summer.
