Today is Monday, Feb. 6. Here are five things you need to know.

  1. Windy and warm: It should be a nice, sunny day today. According to the National Weather Service, the high for Monday is expected to be 50 degrees. It should be sunny throughout the day with wind gusts up to 30 mph.

Expo event: The will hold their first annual , Chamber Connections on Tuesday, Feb. 7 at The Griffin Museum at 6:30 p.m. This Business Expo is an opportunity for the public to meet local business owners who do not have storefronts but are providing service to their clients in the community in a variety of fields. The featured guest will be Linda Sloane Kay, Executive Vice President of Century Bank who will speak on relationship-building, networking, and her family business.   3. Trivia bee: The (WFEE) prepares for the club’s Ninth annual Trivia Bee. This year's bee will be held on Wed., Feb. 8 at 7 p.m. at the
  4. Census: Annual will be mailed to Winchester residents during the week of January 9. All households must respond to the mailing by February 15. In the mailings will be Transfer Station permits and information on the fee increases.
  5. Town Election: Looking to get involved in town government? The Board of Selectmen, School Committee and Planning Board will each have two seats up for re-election. The last day for candidates to submit nomination papers is Tuesday, Feb. 7 is the. Town elections will be held on Tuesday, March 27.
