Today is Friday, July 15. Here are five things you need to know:

  1. Rainy and hot: Expect another warm day, but the heat should break a little by the afternoon. According to the National Weather Service, temperatures will remain around 90 degrees. But after 2 p.m. there's a chance of showers and thunderstorms, which could produce hail, winds, heavy rain and lightning. That chance of rain will continue until midnight.
  2. Road Construction: The  will continue paving Lockeland Road. The construction will last one more weel from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. The DPW is informing residents that they should expect delays and recommends drivers to seek alternate routes.
  3. Summer Camp: Currently in its 32nd season, the is once again gearing up for its annual summer camp. The five-week program provides kids with various opportunities to perform. This summer, the camp offers two weeks of shorter one-act musical productions for campers to perform in, complete with musical numbers and dance. The final three weeks will be spent on small group scene-work as well as improvisational workshops and games. The entire camp will simultaneously be working to put together the large production at the end of camp, and this year the summer culminates with Camp Rock: The Musical.
  4. Town Hall to Close: The Town Hall will be closed on Thursday, July 21 for Record Retention Day.
