Today is Monday, June 27. Here are five things you need to know:

  1. Sunny and Warm: Monday should be a good start to the week. According to the National Weather Service, the high for today will be 82 degrees. It’s expected to be mostly sunny throughout the day. By Monday night temperatures are expected to drop to 62 degrees.
  2. Art Show: Over 25 artists will , photographs, mosaics and sculptures of the throughout the month of July at the Beebe Estate Gallery in Melrose. The artists come from towns surrounding the Fells. Opening reception is Friday, July 1 from 7 – 9 p.m. The gallery will be open Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.  
  3. Circus: Winchester families for its 21st year of classes starting next Tuesday, June 28 and running for five weeks. Weekly one-hour classes are held in late afternoons during July in Somerville.  The program concludes with performances under the big top at Nunziato Field the weekend of August 5 - 7.
  4. In case you missed it: After 36 years in education, the last six at Ralph Marotta has . This past year, the former Assistant Principal at McCall, filled in as the interim principal.
