Today is Thursday, June 30. Here are five things you need to know:

1. Another Beautiful Day: So far, so good this summer and expect it to continue today. According to the National Weather Service, the high for Thursday is 80 degrees. It should be mostly sunny throughout the day with a slight breeze. By Thursday night temperatures will drop to around 60 degrees.
2. Library Movie: If you’re looking for a place to cool off on Thursday, be sure to head to the. Teens in grades six to 12 can go to the library for today from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
3. Splash Park open: and the for the summer season. The beach and splash park is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays. Holidays and weekends the park will be open from noon to 5 p.m.
4. Art Show: Over 25 artists will , photographs, mosaics and sculptures of the throughout the month of July at the Beebe Estate Gallery in Melrose. The artists come from towns surrounding the Fells. Opening reception is Friday, July 1 from 7 – 9 p.m. The gallery will be open Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
