Today is Tuesday, March 20. Here are five things you need to know.

  1. Is it summer?: Today is going to get pretty warm. According to the National Weather Service, the high for Tuesday is expected to be 76 degrees. Expect it to be foggy early, but the sun should come out by noon. And from there it should feel like summer as temperatures approach 80 degrees.
  2. Birth of Winchester Hospital: In honor of centennial, historian Ellen Knight, author of Winchester Hospital: Our First Century, will present anand the community overcame to keep its hospital going in its early decades. Soccer Recruitment: The Sachems FC is hosting a If you have a player who is interested in playing college soccer – Wednesday night at at 7 p.m. Come hear three top college soccer coaches talk about what it takes to play college soccer and what they're looking for in the recruitment process. The Guest Coaches/Speakers will be: Harvard Women's Head Coach Ray Leone, Div 1; Bentley University Men's Head Coach Gary Crompton, Div 2; and Babson College Men's Head Coach Jon Anderson, Div 3.   4. Wright-Locke Farm: Sally Quinn is a Winchester resident and the Vice-President of the Conservancy. She will be showing slides and speaking about the Wright-Locke Farm at the on Thursday, March 22 from 7:30-8:30 p.m with coffee and cookies available at 7 p.m. Come and learn about the new greenhouse, the chickens, the beehives and the education program that will welcome children to the farm.
