Today is Wednesday, March 21. Here are five things you need to know.

  1. Getting hotter: While Tuesday may have been comfortable, Wednesday could get hot. According to the National Weather Service, the high for Wednesday is expected to be 81 degrees. Expect it to be foggy early, but the sun should come out by mid-morning. And from there it should feel like summer as temperatures surpass 80 degrees.
  2. Soccer Recruitment: The Sachems FC is hosting a If you have a player who is interested in playing college soccer – Wednesday night at at 7 p.m. Come hear three top college soccer coaches talk about what it takes to play college soccer and what they're looking for in the recruitment process. The Guest Coaches/Speakers will be: Harvard Women's Head Coach Ray Leone, Div 1; Bentley University Men's Head Coach Gary Crompton, Div 2; and Babson College Men's Head Coach Jon Anderson, Div 3.   3. Taste of Winchester: , which will be held at the this Friday at 7 p.m., provides the Museum with a significant portion of the annual funding for its photographic exhibitions and programming. Attendance is limited and early registration is recommended. Tickets will be priced at $65 each and available at the Griffin Museum and Bookends beginning in early February.   4. Wright-Locke Farm: Sally Quinn is a Winchester resident and the Vice-President of the Conservancy. She will be showing slides and speaking about the Wright-Locke Farm at the on Thursday, March 22 from 7:30-8:30 p.m with coffee and cookies available at 7 p.m. Come and learn about the new greenhouse, the chickens, the beehives and the education program that will welcome children to the farm.
