Today is Monday, March 26. Here are five things you need to know.

1. More like March: The National Weather Service predicts mostly sunny and breezy, with a high near 51 with a slight chance of showers after noon. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.

2. Election day is Tuesday: Get out and vote in the Annual Town Elections on Tuesday. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

  • Precincts 1 & 2  Muraco School, Bates Road
  • Precincts 3 & 4  McCall School, Main Street
  • Precincts 5 & 6 Jenks Senior Center, Skillings Road
  • Precincts 7 & 8 Lynch School, Brantwood and Horn Pond Brook Roads

3. Selectmen Meeting: The Board of Selectmen is scheduled to meet tonight at 7:30 p.m. Agenda items include committee re-appointments and an NSTAR discussion. 

4. Preschool Story Time: Preschool Story Time Club is on Mondays and Tuesdays at 10 a.m. or 11 a.m. and is for children ages 2 1/2 -5.5 at the Winchester Public Library. Registration is required. Stop by the Children's Room for more information and to sign up!
