3. Geothermal Info Session: Melanie Head, PhD from EnergySmart Alternatives will be presenting a crash course in geothermal heating and cooling applications for homes in New England. Although relatively unknown, it is the most efficient system available for heating and cooling. EnergySmart’s most recent residential installations in Massachusetts will be presented as case studies detailing the sale, design, permitting, and installation phases of the projects. The event is sponsored by Sustainable Winchester and Cool Winchester. 7:00 p.m. at the , 80 Washington St.

4. TRIGGERED: Fletcher Wortmann, who grew up in Winchester, will talk about and sign his new book, Triggered:  A Memoir of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, on March 28 at 7 PM at Book Ends.  A portion of the evening's sales will be donated to the International OCD Foundation. , 559 Main St, Winchester, MA 7:00 p.m.
