Today is Wednesday, March 30. Here are five things you need to know:

  1. Sunny and warm: Well, maybe it’s not exactly warm, but it’s definitely warmer. According to the National Weather Service the high for today will be 47 degrees. It’s expected to be mostly sunny, clear and calm. By Wednesday night, temperatures will drop to 30 degrees.
  2. Benefit of Hope: A : A Benefit for Milan Moosavizadeh will be held on Saturday, April 9 at from 7 – 11 p.m. All proceeds from this Gala will go directly to the Milan Moosavizadeh Trust to help Milan and his family with his ongoing support needs.  
  3. Softball League: Registration is now open for an that will be playing Tuesday nights at   The league will run from April 26 to June 28.  Individuals and groups are encouraged to join. Contact Ed Bopp (edbopp@hotmail.com) for registration and other information.

  5. Responding vs. Reacting to Your Kids: Charlie Appelstein, whose motto is "There's no such thing as a bad kid", has worked with children and youth for over 25 years. Applestein will be tonight from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. He will present ways for parents and caregivers to when children are experiencing emotional and behavioral challenges.
