Today is Thursday, March 31. Here are five things you need to know:

  1. Rain and snow: Don’t worry, winter’s not officially back, it’s just making a brief appearance. According to the National Weather Service the high for today will be 46 degrees. But starting after 3 p.m. there’s expected to be some showers. That will eventually turn to snow by Thursday night and continue through Friday. But so far, the NWS is predicting snowfall accumulations will be less than two inches.
  2. Benefit of Hope: A : A Benefit for Milan Moosavizadeh will be held on Saturday, April 9 at from 7 – 11 p.m. All proceeds from this Gala will go directly to the Milan Moosavizadeh Trust to help Milan and his family with his ongoing support needs.  
  3. Author Comes to Town: On Thursday, March 31, from 7 p.m. to 8 pm, local author will be signing copies of her newest book, Deep Down True, at
