1. Feels like summer: Thursday is the harbinger of a beautiful weekend. The National Weather Service is predicting a sunny day with a high of 72. The evening will cool down to a low near 45. Can't complain about that.

2. International Drop-In Gathering: The Winchester Multicultural Network invites you to attend our International Drop-In Gatherings, from 8:30-10:00 a.m., at , 794 Main St. Open to all, every Thursday, from October-June. Children are welcome.

3. Pattycake Place: Drop in every Thursday morning from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m for children under 2 years and their parents/caregivers. Songs, stories, fingerplays for the first 15 minutes and toys, music, and sharing for the last 45 minutes in the Large Meeting Room of the Winchester Public Library.

4. Hot Reads: Calling all young professionals, college grads and stay at home moms!  Join us at the Winchester Public Library for our newest book club devoted to reading and discussing buzz worthy and scintillating books. We'll be discussing the book, The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern.  Check it out from the library or download the ebook at digital.minlib.net.  Light refreshments will be served.  Questions? email bdelorme@minlib.net for more information.

Where's the best place to get your Memorial Day Fixings: With Memorial Day just a few weeks away, it's about time to start thinking about the cookouts we'll be hosting and/or attending. And so, , we'll be looking for your recommendations on the best places to pick up the grillables and groceries for your Memorial Day cookouts.
