Winchester's Memorial Day Parade begins today at 9:15 a.m.

Today is Monday, May 30. Here are five things you need to know:

  1. Here comes the heat: It should be a sunny and hot Memorial Day. According to the National Weather Service, the high for Monday will be 87 degrees. It should be sunny for most of the day, but there is a chance for some showers and thunderstorms between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
