Today is Friday, Nov. 4. Here are five things you need to know:

  1. Getting cooler: Temperatures will begin to get a little cooler throughout the weekend. According to the National Weather Service, the high for Friday will be 49 degrees. It should be mostly cloudy throughout the day with wind gusts up to 22 mph. By Friday night temperatures are expected to drop to 30 degrees.
  2. Breast Cancer: The fundraiser – – will take place on Friday, Nov. 4 at Town Hall at 7:30 p.m. People can RSVP by sending a check for $40 made out to Bust a Move for Breast Cancer and mail it to Lisa Basile at 40 Mayflower Road, Winchester, MA 01890. 
  3. Leafy Problem: The Transfer Station will be open on Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. for leaf collection only.
  4. Free training: , which just opened in Winchester, is offering one-week of free group classes for anyone interested.
