Today is Tuesday, October 11. Here are five things you need to know:

  1. Beautiful day: It should be mostly sunny today with a high near 67, according to the National Weather Service. Temperatures are expected to drop to the mid 40s at night.
  2. Flu shots: There is a flu and pneumonia clinic from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the . The clinic, the third of five, is being sponsored by the Winchester Board of Health and the Jenks Center.
  3. Sachems in action: The boys’ and girls’ cross country teams will host Woburn at 3:45 p.m. The golf team will be on the road against Catholic Memorial at 3 p.m. at George Wright Golf Course in Hyde Park, and the girls’ volleyball team will be at home against Wilmington at 5 p.m.
  4. School Committee: The School Committee will meet at 7 p.m. in the library.
