Today is Tuesday, October 18. Here are five things you need to know:

  1. Last day before the rain: The sun will be out today, so enjoy it before the rain comes on Wednesday. According to the National Weather Service, the high for today is expected to be 65 degrees. It should be mostly sunny throughout the day. By Tuesday night, temperatures are expected to drop to 52 degrees, as the clouds start to move in.

Vinson-Owen update: The Education Facilities Planning and Building Committee (EFPBC) invites Winchester residents to an update on the rebuild of the , Wednesday Oct. 19 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Parkhurst School. It will be presented by Architect Brooke Trivas of Tappe and EFPBC Chair, Bob Deering.
