Today is Monday, Oct. 24. Here are five things you need to know:

  1. Sunny early with showers later: It should be a nice fall day to start off the week. According to the National Weather Service, the high for Monday is expected to be 62 degrees. It should be mostly sunny throughout the day. By Monday night, clouds will start to move in and there’s a chance of showers after 11 p.m.

  3. Mortimer hearing: Thomas Mortimer is expected back in court Monday morning at 9 a.m. His defense attorney, Denise Regan, has been trying to get . The judge is expected to make a decision Monday.
