Today is Tuesday, September 27. Here are five things you need to know:

  1. Cooling down: It’s slowly starting to move back to fall. According to the National Weather Service, the high for Tuesday will be 74 degrees. It should be mostly sunny throughout the day. By Tuesday night, temperatures will drop to 57 degrees.
  2. Author to Town: Mike Lupica will stop by on Wednesday, at 7 p.m. to sign his newest book, The Underdogs. Lupica began his sports writing career at age 23, covering the Knicks for the New York Post. In addition to being the author of a number of sports-themed novels for ages 10 to 14, he is currently a syndicated columnist for The New York Daily News, and a TV anchor for ESPN's The Sports Reporters.
  3. Flea Market: The annual will be held on Saturday, October 1, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Town Hall parking lot. Antiques, collectibles, crafts and treasures from the attic will be featured.
