Flags Line Streets Near Doherty's Mom

Hundreds of American flags, both large and small, line the streets of Barbara Doherty's West Side neighborhood. The flags are intended to honor her son, Glen Doherty, who was killed in a terrorist attack in Libya last week.

In addition to the flags, one neighbor left a sign on the lawn that simply stated: "Our hearts are broken."

There will be a wake for Doherty tonight, route: {:controller=>"articles", :action=>"show", :id=>"funeral-set-for-glen-doherty"} --> from 3 to 7 at St. Eulalia Parish, along with a funeral service Wednesday.
