Holiday Concert at McCall Saturday
If you're in the holiday spirit, there is also a Gingerbread House Workshop at Swizzles Frozen Yogurt on Sunday.
Today is Friday, Dec. 14. Here are five things you need to know today:
1.) The Jubilation Singers Holiday Concert is at 7 p.m. Saturday at McCall Middle School. Joining McCall’s Jubilation Singers will be the high school’s Chamber Singers and Octets, the All Town Children’s Chorus and a couple of surprise guests. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at Book Ends or at the door. All ages are welcome.
2.) Swizzles Frozen Yogurt is hosting a Gingerbread House Workshop at noon Sunday. Space is limited, and you must sign up in the store by Saturday. It’s $10 per child (includes all the materials for the gingerbread house and a small yogurt with toppings).

3.) Marilynn Carter will discuss her first book, “No Fret Cooking,” at 1 p.m. Saturday at Book Ends. Read more.
4.) The Joint Selectmen/Planning Board: Town Center Initiative Executive Committee will meet at 8:15 a.m. this morning in Town Hall’s Selectmen’s Meeting Room.

5.) Today should be sunny with a high near 47, according to the National Weather Service. Saturday’s expected to be sunny with a high near 40, and there is supposed to be some snow Sunday afternoon.
