Hot Off the T: 5 Things To Do in Boston This Weekend

Doggie Halloween Parade; big antique show; and Stephen Stills.

(All events are in walking distance from Orange Line stops on the MBTA.)

(Note: If there is more traffic this weekend it's probably because of the Head of the Charles Regatta on Saturday and Sunday.)

1.) : The Ellis Boston Antiques Show is returning to Boston after a three-year hiatus, featuring nearly 40 of the finest antiques exhibitors from across the country and around the world. At the Cyclorama, Oct. 20-23; Sat. 11 a.m to 8 p.m.; Sun, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults, free for children under 12.
Take the commuter rail from Winchester Center to North Station, then take the Orange Line to Back Bay Station and walk 10 minutes to the Cyclorama

2.) : Hosted by Eric Jackson of WGBH. On Saturday, 7:30 p.m., at the Blackman Theatre at Northeastern University. Tickets are $25.
Take the commuter rail from Winchester Center to North Station, then take the Orange Line to Ruggles Station and then walk 10 minutes to the theater. 

3.) : On Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Esplanade. Dogs in Halloween costumes. Bring your mutt and promenade. Prizes for Best Costume and Best Duet (human/dog).

4.) NEW MAP CENTER: The Boston Public Library will unveil its new map center which has been under construction since April. The 5,760 square feet of space includes a rare map research room and exploration areas for children. Ribbon cutting ceremony at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
Take the commuter rail from Winchester Center to North Station, then take the Orange Line to Back Bay Station and walk 5 minutes to the library. 

5.) STEPHEN STILLS: The "S" in CSN&Y plays the Wilbur Theater on Sunday at 7:30 p.m. As of this post Friday afternoon, tickets were still available. $35-$55. "There's something happening here..."
