  • : A Somerville District Court judge ordered  to surrender their passports and not leave the Commonwealth while their charges are pending. Stanley Komins, 78, and is son, Stephen Komins, 45, both of Stoneham, appeared before Judge Neil Walker Friday morning for arraignment on their charges. Not guilty pleas were entered for both.

  • Summer Street Man Charged with Attempted Murder: A Summer Street man allegedly choked a woman in his residence on Christmas Eve, Monday, Dec. 24. Omar Taha, 24, was arrested at 12:12 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26, after the woman reported the alleged incident to police that morning. He was charged with attempted murder, assault and battery and threats, according to police.
