STONEHAM—A Stoneham man accused of  pleaded not guilty to charges in a Malden court on Tuesday, according to officials.

Eugene Ledonne, 76, of Stoneham, pleaded not guilty to charges of leaving the scene of accident after causing personal injury and assault and battery dangerous weapon (motor vehicle) in Malden District Court, according to Stephanie Guyotte of Middlesex District Attorney Gerry Leone's Office. Judge Matthew Nestor released Ledonne on $300 bail with conditions of no driving and no contact with the victim, Guyotte added. 

Ledonne's next court appearance will be on Sept. 26, as he's scheduled for a pre-trial conference, according to Guyotte.

ARLINGTON—An intoxicated customer allegedly pushed a  employee, ripping his shirt, Saturday night after being cut off.

Police responded to the local Indian restaurant at 485 Massachusetts Ave. in Arlington Center at about 11:50 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, for a report of a disturbance involving a customer.

Once there, police spoke with the employee who said that the customer had pushed him in the chest after he cut him off. The employee’s shirt was torn from his neck down to the center of his chest, according to police. He told police that he was not injured in the altercation.

LEXINGTON—The transformation from senior housing to New England-style inn has begun at the former Dana Home and future Inn at Hastings Park.

Construction vehicles rolled up to the site, located at the corner of Mass Ave and Worthen Road, and preliminary work began earlier this week, according to Trisha Perez Kennealy, the Lexington resident behind the project.

Earlier this year, Lexington’s annual Town Meeting approved Kennealy’s citizen’s petition to  to allow for commercial redevelopment of the Dana Home and the adjacent property as a hotel and restaurant concept known as the Inn at Hastings Park

MEDFORD—Harry Levy, the owner of Hank Lee's Magic Factory in Medford, was sentenced to two years in prison on Thursday for committing credit card fraud and misleading investigators, according to a court official.

, then lying about the charges to investigators, according to court filings.

Judge Patti Saris handed down the sentence in a hearing Thursday morning at U.S. District in Boston. Levy's attorney unsuccessfully argued for him to avoid prison time and serve six months in a halfway house, six months house arrest and three years probation instead, according to court filings. His plea agreement also requires him to pay restitution to the victim.
