Question of the Day: Do You Approve How Markey, Brown and Kerry are Representing You

As the countdown to either 1). financial armageddon or 2). halting run away federal spending is now only eight days away from the deadline on increasing the US debt ceiling, one opinion is increasingly becoming prominent in the debate: "Throw the bums out!"

National dissatisfaction with elected officials of all parties and convictions is growing during the growing debt crisis; polls indicate that Congressional approval rates are at their lowest levels in generations and President Obama is seen by a majority of the public as leading the US economy in the wrong direction.

But there has always been a disconnect on how the public views politicians as a whole and those who represent them. Historically, while voters might be disgusted with the "bunch down in DC," they usually like the guys representing them.
