Question of the Day: Don't Ask, Don't Tell

They 18-year-old "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" law that allowed gays to serve in the military only if they kept private their sexual orientation was repealed at 12:01 a.m. today, Sept. 20. 

According to an AP report published on HuffPo Politics, gay advocacy groups planned celebraitons across the country, but the military took a business-as-usual approach to the change.

While in Congress continue to oppose the change, the Pentagon says the military is prepared and 97 percent of personnel have been trained for the policy change, according to the AP report.
