Obama or the NFL.

The US economy is bumping along with little growth, high unemployment and a great level of uncertainity in the future. While still a minority, a growing number of Wall Street analysts are predicting a higher probability of a second recession in the coming months.

Tonight, at 7 p.m., President Obama will come before Congress and the nation to unveil his $400 billion plan to recharge the economy and spark employment.

Also tonight, the National Football League begins its 2011-12 season with defending Super Bowl champion Green Bay Packers against the New Orlean Saints.

And while they are not going head-to-head – the NFL starts at 8 p.m. – it will be interesting to see whether the national audience turns out to see Obama launch his plan to revive the economy or Packers' QB Aaron Rogers launch passes into the Saints defense.

In either case, the audience will tune in if they believe the outcome of the broadcast can meet their expectations.

So, will you be watching President Obama's speech to the nation, the opening game of the football season, both or neither?
