Work crews will undertake the first of a series of rapid bridge superstructure replacements on I-93 in Medford beginning on Friday, June 3 at 8 p.m. and continuing through Monday, June 6 at 5 a.m.
The MassDOT will repair along 14 bridge locations on I-93 throughout the summer.
Traffic will be limited to two lanes and, according to the MassDOT, traffic is expected to be heavy throughout the duration of the weekend, particularly during daytime and early evening hours.

Construction will continue throughout the summer with the exception of the Fourth of July and Labor Day weekends.
