Did you make it to the Bruins championship parade in Boston?

The Boston Bruins brought the Stanley Cup home last week for the first time since 1972, and on Saturday the team celebrated with thousands of fans on the streets of their home city with the championship parade.

Folks were lining up on the parade route starting as early as 6:00 a.m. to see the parade of duck boats holding Bruins players, coaches and, of course, the Stanley Cup. The parade began at 11 a.m. at the TD Banknorth Garden and continued on to Copley Square, but fans lined the streets well past the official end point - hoping to catch a glimpse of the champions.

Now, Winchester Patch wants YOUR stories from the rolling rally. Send photos, videos, and tales of your parade watching ventures to Danielm@patch.com to have them included on our home page.

Be sure to check out the photos of a few Winchester residents at the parade. We have one from the Grieci family enjoying the celebration and another one from Laura Hingston.
