1. – Winchester gymnast Alicia Sacramone, dropped her clothes as she posed for the ESPN Body Issue. The magazine, which hit newstands Oct. 7, gave readers a look at an athlete's body.

3. – On May 28, Winchester opened its first Splash Park at . The splash park was the dream of former (FAN) president Elizabeth Angelino, who said she believed Borrgaard Beach was an underutilized resource and envisioned a way to revitalize the space.

4. – By 200 votes Winchester residents came out against a $1.44 million override. Town management informed residents that because the override failed, they are going to go ahead with cuts.
