Why Go: The Winchester Multicultural Network invites anyone who lives or works in Winchester to attend its yearly workshop “Deepening Your Multicultural Understanding” which will be held Friday evening, March 9 from 7 - 9 p.m. continuing Saturday, March 10 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Unitarian Church.  To register contact the Network’s office, office@wmcn.org,, call WMCN at 781 729-7100, or contact Gloria Welch Legvold at 781-729-8247.

Where/when: , Friday, March 9 and Saturday, March 10, 8 p.m.

Why go: The plot of Into the Woods intertwines the stories of various familiar fairy tales with an original story of a childless Baker and his Wife who are attempting to reverse a curse on their family in order to have a child, thus creating a single even bigger fairy tale. In the first act, the characters set out to achieve their goal of living "Happily Ever After" through familiar routes only to have to deal with what happens after "Happily Ever After" in Act Two.

Pricing: $20.

Where/When: ; Saturday, March 10, 9 a.m.

Why Go: Instruction in CrossFit includes basic to advanced level classes in functional exercise, athletic and martial conditioning, plyometrics, kettlebell training, olympic weightlifting, medicine ball training, and basic gymnastics. Register for their free Saturday Group Intro Class by calling (617) 575-9348. Each class is limited to only six people.

Where/when: , Saturday, March 10, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Why go: Beginning Jan. 14 and running to March 17, Mahoney’s will be hosting an indoor farmers market at its Winchester location. The event, similar to the , will run every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m

Where/When: ; Saturday, March 10, 9 a.m.

Why Go: This seminar ia presented and sponsored by the members of WIN (Women Innovately Networking - a group of women entrepreneurs in the Winchester, MA area), come and spend the day learning and networking with other like-minded women.  All proceeds benefit Tailored for Success, a non-profit organization in Malden that assists women and men in entering the workforce - www.tailoredforsuccess.org.
