It’s Thursday, and you’ve got no idea what you’ll do for the weekend.

Where/When: , Lexington, Saturday, March. 5, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Why Go: Children's book author, Pat Lowery Collins, will be reading from her picture-book I am an Artist and from her new novel Daughter of Winter. She will also take questions and sign her books at the end.

Where/When: Arlington, Saturday, March 5, 3 p.m.

Why Go: Internationally renowned trumpet soloist Christopher O'Hara will be performing on a number of different horns, while Mark Engelhardt will accompany him on the piano. Music will include work by Johann Sebastian Bach, Giulio Caccini, William Boyce, Isaac Albeniz, Leonard Bernstein and more from their recent CD "Sound the Trumpet: Music for Trumpet and Organ."

Pricing: $10 to $20.

Where/When: , Sunday, March 6, 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Why Go: Local artist, Carole Keller, will be showing off her work at the library. It's a good chance to meet the her and check out some artwork.

Pricing: Free.

Where/When: First Congregational Church, Sunday, March 6, 3 p.m.

Why Go: To celebrate the Winchester Multicultural's 20 years of service to the community, the trio, made up of Contralto Marion Dry, pianist Leslie Amper, and baritone Robert Honeysucker, will be performing this weekend. The group plays selected traditional spirituals, as well as songs, poetry, and other musical works by women composers.

Pricing: Free.

Where/When: , Sunday, March 6, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Why Go: It's Parsons Table, so you know there's going to be good food. Even though it's a one-year anniversary for Parsons Table, this will also be a fundraiser for the Restoration Project and BeGinn Again.

Pricing: $55
