Where/when: , Thursday, May 26; 7:30 p.m.

Why go: The, an ensemble of 30 boys and girls from the seventh and eighth grades at will perform their spring concert Thursday, May 26 at 7:30 in the McCall Middle School Auditorium. A portion of the proceeds will help fund the Jubilation Singers trip to Connecticut to participate in a New England choir competition.

Pricing: $5.

Where/when:, Saturday, May 28, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Why go: Celebrate the beginning of summer at Lexington's 32st annual Discovery Day, on Saturday May 28. There will be prizes, food, shopping and entertainment. There will be plenty of activities to keep you you busy throughout the day.

Pricing: Free.

Where/When: ; Saturday, May 28, 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Why go: Kathy Fitzgerald and Keith Stavely, authors of Northern Hospitality: Cooking by the Book in New England (2011) and America’s Founding Food: The Story of New England Cooking (2004) will hold a culinary tour that traces the precursors of franks and beans and apple pie, as well as other traditional New England foods.

Pricing: Free

Where/When: Stone Zoo; 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.

Why Go: Birds of Prey features 16 different bird species from around the world, including the Egyptian vulture, American kestrel, king vulture, barn owl and white-bellied stork. These birds will fly in from overhead and demonstrate natural behaviors including unique survival techniques and food foraging, as well as specialized physical adaptations.

Pricing: All shows are free with paid admission to Stone Zoo.Stone Zoo Admission: $13 for adults; $11.00 for seniors (62+); $9 for children 2-12; Children under 2 are free.
