Winchester High School Custodian Dies From Injuries Suffered in Fall at Home

Thomas Cremens died of serious injuries over the weekend.

Thomas Cremens, 52, of 8 Kimball Road in Woburn died of injuries suffered in a fall from a ladder over the weekend. For the last few years, Cremens worked as a custodian at .

Cremens was rushed to a Boston hospital on Saturday after he fell 30 to 40 feet from a ladder at his Kimball Road home. He died of his injuries the next day, Sept. 11.

Cremens was the husband of Kathleen (Snider) Cremens and father of Jillian and Abigail Cremens.

Calling hours at the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) Somerville, will be held Thursday, Sept. 15 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday, Sept. 16 from 4 to 8 p.m.

The funeral procession will be at the Doherty Funeral Home, Saturday, Sept. 17 at 8:30 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass in St. Charles Church at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited. Interment will be at the Cambridge Cemetery.

Cremens was the son of the late Joseph and Catherine Cremens. He is survived by his siblings Joseph of Medford, Mary Maher of Waltham, Ellen Cremens of Medford, Cathy Fico of Cambridge, Margaret Casey of Medford and Elizabeth Parks of California. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
