Winchester Resident Receives Award For Outstanding Service

Susie Marshall received the award for her work in the Middlesex District Attorney's office.

In honor of her exemplary service to the office of the Middlesex District Attorney, Winchester resident Susie Marshall was presented with the District Attorney’s Victim Witness Advocate Award at a ceremony held in Woburn, Middlesex District Attorney Gerry Leone announced today.

The District Attorney’s Victim Witness Advocate Award is awarded to a victim witness advocate for demonstrating extraordinary commitment and dedication to serving and protecting those who are most vulnerable in our communities.

Marshall is a Victim Witness Advocate with the Family Protection Unit.

“Susie is extremely knowledgeable, dependable, and a reliable person for other advocates and prosecutors in not only the Family Protection Unit, but for colleagues throughout the office,” District Attorney Leone said. “Her sincere dedication and commitment to advocating for victims is unparalleled and she is an extremely worthy recipient of the Victim Witness Advocate Award.”

The annual Middlesex District Attorney’s Awards Ceremony was held on December 8 at Woburn Memorial High School in Woburn.  The office has a proud legacy of exemplary service to the people of Middlesex County, and the series of awards are named in honor of many of the former members of the office.

Middlesex alumni who were in attendance to present the awards named in their honor were Attorney General and former Middlesex D.A. Martha Coakley and former Middlesex D.A. and Attorney General Thomas F. Reilly.
