Winchester Resident to Receive Real Estate and Financial Award

Winchester resident, Joan Parsons, will be receiving the Banker & Tradesman Award for the top woman in real estate and finance.

Joan Parsons, a Winchester resident and senior partner at the Boston law firm of Riemer & Braunstein, will receive Banker & Tradesman’s “Women of FIRE” award next month.

The Women of FIRE (Finance, Insurance and Real Estate) award recognizes a group of women who are rising to the top in the finance, insurance or real estate sector.

“It is an honor to be recognized as a leader in the real estate and finance industry,” said Parsons. “I am pleased to be part of this extraordinary group of women in Boston,” added Parsons.

An experienced real estate and finance attorney, Parsons has spent more than 20 years representing financial institutions, which provide financing for office, industrial, retail and multifamily properties, hotels and mixed use developments, both locally and nationally.

Parsons most recently served as president of NEWiRE (New England Women in Real Estate) and has co-chaired NEWiRE’s Membership Committee and Communications Committee.
