Winchester's Holiday Lighting Tonight

The lighting begins at 7 p.m.

Winchester’s annual Holiday Lighting ceremony gets underway at 7 p.m. tonight.

Along with the lighting, there will be carolers and Santa’s arrival, all on the Winchester Commons.

It should be mostly clear tonight, but bundle up, as the overnight low is expected to be in the mid 20s, according to the National Weather Service.

Before the lighting, there is a Bean Supper at the First Congregational Church. The menu includes the church’s baked beans recipe, hot dogs, homemade coleslaw, brown bread, corn bread and pies, along with apple cider, milk and decaf coffee.

The dinner is $8 for adults, $5 for children under 10 and free for children under 5. Proceeds will be split between the Woburn Council of Social Concern and the church’s Youth Mission Trip.
