Winchester's Week in Social Media

Here at Winchester Patch, we take social media pretty seriously.

The platform is one way we look to interact with you, answer your questions and get to see what's on your mind. Social Media Saturday is a weekly feature where we highlight your questions and thoughts you've shared on Facebook and other media throughout the past week.

We'll also point you to some new and interesting pages you may not have known about before. 

Highlights of the Week

• At this time last week we had 274 Facebook fans. Now, we're up to 276. We recently hit our first goal of 250, but we've slowed down over the last week. Our goal is to get 500 fans by the end of the summer.
• Kathleen Conlon commented that she was "curious" about Forrest Fontana's
• The Winchester 12-year-old little league team . That story received a number of Facebook likes.
• Donna Ralphs liked our story on the Winchester gymnasts winning a number of medals at the She also commented on our story regarding Sunday night's water main break.
• And don't forget about Twitter. We're on there as well, so make sure to follow us.

This summer, is holding again this year. Between the concerts and the , the Rec. Department has plenty of summer activities. To keep up with everything that's going on, be sure to become a friend of their Facebook page.
