Winchester's Week in Social Media

Here at Winchester Patch, we take social media pretty seriously.

The platform is one way we look to interact with you, answer your questions and get to see what's on your mind. Social Media Saturday is a weekly feature where we highlight your questions and thoughts you've shared on Facebook and other media throughout the past week.

We'll also point you to some new and interesting pages you may not have known about before. 

Highlights of the Week

• At this time last week we had 291 Facebook fans. Now, we're up to 295. We recently hit our first goal of 250, and now we're tying to get to 500 fans by the end of the summer. So, spread the word!
• The most well-liked story of the week came from the announcement that a Winchester's . The story was recommended by seven people.
• Another popular story was our photo gallery of the . Over on Facebook, Danielle Caron Marquardt said, "thanks for sharing", while Michelle Dubs Bergstrom was impressed with how nice it looked. 
• Our story on around town was recommended, while people "liked" our story on Facebook about Representative.
• And don't forget about Twitter, our story on was retweeted a few times.

Social Media Page of the Week

We're in August and that means Art in August is under way. The first event - an Arts and Craft Festival - begins on Saturday on the . The month-ling event will culminate with later this month. So, in honor of the event, be sure to follow the Winchester Cultural Council on Facebook.
