Every Saturday we'll look at the week that was on Winchester Patch's Facebook and Twitter feeds.

Here at Winchester Patch, we take social media pretty seriously.

The platform is one way we look to interact with you, answer your questions and get to see what's on your mind. Social Media Saturday is a weekly feature where we highlight your questions and thoughts you've shared on Facebook and other media throughout the past week.

We'll also point you to some new and interesting pages you may not have known about before.

Highlights of the Week

  • At this time last week we had 266 Facebook fans. Now, we're up to 274. We recently hit our first goal of 250, now we want to see if we can get to 500 by the end of the summer.
  • Our story on how has its vendors - a soup kitchen based in Woburn - received both positive comments and "likes" from our Facebook fans. 
  • Facebook fans also "liked" our story on New England Patriots tight end, Rob Gronkowski, It was also retweeted by a number of our Twitter followers, including @PatsLatest
  • Over on Twitter, @SvenAnderson retweeted our story about home sales in Winchester in the month of May,
  • Winchester native, Stephen Homsey, is walking to That story was retweeted by @LindaAnnNickers.
  • Yes, don't forget about Twitter. We're on there as well, so make sure to follow us.

This summer, is celebrating its in theater arts. Their focus has been on teaching children theater and to be creative. If you haven't already, be sure to head over to their Facebook Page and become a fan.
