20th Anniversary Winchester Dine Around Gala

Winchester Friends of VNA Hospice Care will hold a special 20th Anniversary Gala Dine Around on Saturday, May 3, at the estate of Paul and Jessica Lohnes at 80 Myopia Road, Winchester. The annual fundraiser benefits VNA Hospice Care, a community-based hospice that has served residents of Winchester and neighboring towns and cities since 1979.

This year’s Winchester Dine Around, sponsored by Westview Capital Partners and Joyce and Bill Cummings, will feature radio host and TV personality Billy Costa. The Dine Around will kick-off at 7 p.m. with a cocktail and hors d’oeuvres reception and followed by a seated dinner. A live auction will be emceed by Costa, who’s known for his work as news and entertainment reporter for Kiss 108 and host of TV Diner.

The Winchester Friends of VNA Hospice Care are especially grateful to Copper event sponsors Brattle Transportation, Lane Funeral Home and Long-Term Pharmacy Solutions, Inc. Many more sponsorship opportunities are available and include tickets to the gala and promotional benefits.

“This year’s gala event will be very special. The Lohnes’ estate is such a gorgeous venue for an event, and we are so grateful that Paul and Jessica have once again opened their home to support hospice as they did on our 10th anniversary,” said event Co-Chair Jill Anderson.

Co-Chair Laura Kelley added, “Many local fundraisers never make it to celebrate their 20th anniversary, so we are working to make this year’s event an elegant and spectacular celebration. The event is black tie optional, so get ready to dance all night to the sounds of the band Groove Authority.”

Tickets are $200 per person and include a cocktail reception, dinner, dessert, entertainment and dancing. Seating is limited and tickets must be purchased by April 26. Call 781-569-2812 or register on-line at http://www.vnahospicecare.org/our-events. All proceeds benefit VNA Hospice Care, a non-profit, 501c3, community-based hospice which provides care, comfort and support to patients and families facing life-limiting illness and loss in more than 200 communities in Massachusetts.
