Dr.

Albert Muggia speaks about Mark Twain

Many people who have heard Dr. Albert Muggia teach have recommended him to us as a speaker at the Jenks Center.  He knows a great deal about many people, but the overwhelming top choice for his first program has been Mark Twain.  Mark Twain made a big difference to the world that he lived in, and he also influenced the lives of a large number of people.  Twain had as interesting a life as anyone can have, and Dr. Muggia has given an eight-week course on his life at Tufts Institute for Learning in Retirement. In addition to Twain’s life story, Dr. Muggia will be spending time on his philosophy, his political ideas and his religious view.

When Dr Muggia retired he thought he would take a few courses at the Tufts Institute for Learning in Retirement, and then he decided it would be more fun, and he would learn more if he led the course rather than sitting and listening. That is how he got into this.
